My name is Josh Duffy, and I was born an artist. I have tried to escape from what I am many times and always ended up with a pencil or brush in my hand. Like my mom always told me, “it’s like diarrhea it runs in the genes”, but it sounds better when you say it rather than to read it. She is an extremely accomplished artist, and I feel sometimes as though I live my career in her shadow, although we lead two completely different paths in the art world. I have been around art my entire life, and making a great living off of it has never been a question for me. All of my family, including my mom, dad, stepdad, and my brother are all amazing artists, and work hard at what they do to be the best. I have that same drive instilled in me, although my mom has paintings all the world over, including a painting that was carried into space on the ‘94 Edeavor shuttle, I am hoping to achieve the success and recognition worldwide as she has. Who knows maybe I will meet an astronaut one day and sleeve him up haha. Until then I will be tattooing, painting, drawing, playing music, and raising a family. After all, I wouldn’t be doing what I do without the two biggest inspirations in my life, Family (and friends), and HEAVY METAL!
Rich Pineda BIO:
I got my start in tattooing through my friend Jeff Cooper in March of 2010. So I have been tattooing a relatively short time. I absolutely am in love with this art form over any I have done in the past. I have been getting tattooed since I was 15 and have loved it since then. I had a few friends that tattooed when I was growing up and one of them was my good friend Todd Townsend who was like a big brother to me. I always admired what a great artist he was as I was an artist myself and appreciated good work. I never thought that years later I would be an tattoo artist as well. I did the music thing most my life as well. I was in many bands last being Heart of Eros with my good friend Matt Ainsworth and still continue to make music today as well as Engineering and Recording at my home studio “The Underground Studio” Although I have been an artist as long as I can remember, and worked as an artist for many years working on custom automotive pain jobs as well as bikes, helmets, custom wood and metal works, and most art related fields. Making custom one off pieces is my favorite thing to do, I also love photography. If you would like to get some work get in touch with me through my contact page. R.
